Perhaps a plastic flag and bamboo pool. They are very well used as road markers. **Q: can this cone be ran over by a car and not lose its shape or functionality ?** A: No, I don't recommend running this cone over by a car. It's made of plastic and expandable fabric material. I find this cone great for my needs, but if you're looking for something indestructible, find another brand. **Q: How are they stored? Do they come in a case?** A: They come in a small white box. No storage case, but you could just put them back in the box they came in.
