The throttle options between the two are different, the system this throttle works with is generally for an lcd controller. this throttle has three wires black red and purple. so the simplest way to be sure this will work with your system would be follow your throttle wire to the motor controller and see if yours is the same three wires and colors (purple could be brown wire in some makes) and don't freak if the connector on the motor controller don't match the one provided with this throttle. If the wire color and count are the same merely cut off the motor controller connect and inline splice the wires, you can wire nut, solder, or use blue or red ( pending on wire gage) inline crimp connect.
