I think both together don't even reach 100lbs but it's nice to know the desktop will not be on the floor.It's a rare thing to need a shelf for a server rack, but I'd highly recommend this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Well Built Sliding Shelf *by B***0 on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2017* Wow... this shelf is built beautifully, and you can feel the strength of it as soon as you pull it out of the box. Nice deep shelf, thick construction and the sliding rails do not flex with weight. You can feel comfortable loading the shelf with heavy gear. Very smooth rail operation.Only con is that while the mount is 1U, the total height is greater than 1U so it actually takes up the 1U space below. If you place a unit on it that has a Rack mount face, you won't be able to attach to the corresponding mount holes.
