If you are using it for crafts to glue pieces of finished ceramics to something or to adhere as in mixed media collage or assemblage, then yes. If your question is to use for creating ceramics with a kiln, I have no idea. but I would doubt it **Q: How clear does this dry in thicker spots?** A: In my experience, it dries pretty clear. It will have more texture in the thicker spots and you can see brush strokes if you're using a brush to apply it. **Q: Is this the same a matte gel medium?** A: Matte gel medium doesn't have a shine. Regular medium has a glossy look. ## Frequently Bought Together - U.S. Art Supply Impasto Clear Gel Acrylic Medium for Painting – 500ml Tub, Matte & Gloss Gel Medium for Acrylic Paint, Ideal for Texture, Layering, & Extending Paint, Non-Toxic, Professional Quality - U.S. Art Supply Modeling Paste for Acrylic Painting - 500ml Acrylic Texture Paste for Textured Art, Lightweight Flexible Acrylic Modeling Paste, Non-Toxic, Sandable, Mixable with Paint & Archival-Safe - CONDA Palette Knife Painting Stainless Steel Spatula Palette Knife Oil Paint Metal Knives Wood Handle (Red 5 Piece) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/84722718-impasto-clear-acrylic-gel-medium-500ml-tub](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/84722718-impasto-clear-acrylic-gel-medium-500ml-tub) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
