Weld seams are impeccable on the powder-coated steel. The set I purchased measured 18" without the adjustable feet. With the feet, there is about 1" of height adjustment that can be made. This was perfect for my needs as all other hairpin legs are of the wired variety that cannot be adjusted. The mounting plate is 4.5" x 4.5".
