This is perfect, holds a lot of liquid but feels like a regular mug. I love that it's all glass. The infuser has small slits at the bottom, and let in some small particles, but not a big deal. With the infuser and lid, it works great for loose leaf teas and the infuser rests perfectly on the lid when done steeping. The mug itself is great for tea bags, coffee or anything really. My infuser sits perfectly in the mug, not too big like some other reviewers complained of. It's good quality, not too thick or thin. Yes, it's glass so don't bang it around. I use it daily as it's now my favorite mug. The first one i bought, everything fit together properly, but i broke the tea strainer while hand washing it. You have to be careful with this. It's fragile. But it works perfectly and you really don't need the lid to steep the tea. It's really helpful to put the tea strainer (with the used tea leaves) in the lid while you enjoy your tea and it still works for that. I love being able to see the tea in the glass. I never realized there was such a variation of color between teas. It adds to the experience.
