Review: Great little kit backed up by great support and useful videos - This is a great little kit and has all that one might need to learn and practice suturing. It comes with all the implements one needs to suture, a selection of a range of sutures to use in practicing, and is paired with a series of very helpful online instructional videos. Medical Creations also seems very committed to its products and providing top-notch and friendly support, and it also offers a range of free ebooks to choose from to broaden one's medical knowledge. I highly recommend this kit.
Review: Great for somebody who has never sutured before. - I've never done a suture before, so this was my first introduction. I found the tool set and the included sutures to be of adequate quality. The practice pad is fine except for the fact that I find it can rip if you put too much on traction on the surface with the forceps. I'm not sure if this is due to my novice technique or the materials, but it took me by surprise (hence the 4 star for durability). From reading elsewhere on desertcart, it seems that suture practice pad durability/ripping issues seems to be not uncommon in general. The ebook link didn't work, however I emailed the company, and they sent me a PDF copy within hours. Apparently, there was a typo in the documentation (an extra "G" in 'suturingGebook'), and although they fixed the errors, some units still included it. Once I got the ebook, I thought it was a fine introduction, and it at least gave me a clear enough list of the types of knots and sutures to look at and search further on Google/Youtube. One thing I wish I knew when I got the kit, which I learned when reading the ebook, is that to practice properly as if for a real life situation, you really should be wearing exam gloves when you practice. Luckily, you can pick those up at any CVS/Rite Aid type drug store. Overall, great purchase, and I would recommend it to somebody who's never done sutures and would like to jump in for the first time. Just remember to also buy some examination gloves!

A: No

**Q: When i try to get the e-book it ask for my information and i entered it but it just takes me to a thank you page? how do i get the ebook?**
A: The company actually contacted me by email saying there was a glitch in their system.  They ended up sending me the ebook as a pdf file.

**Q: Is there marking and holes in the pad from the suturing?**
A: The pad is reusable and does not leave marks and holes if kept properly. You can reuse it dozens on times before it gets damaged.

**Q: is a suturing needle included in this kit? if so, is it a rounded one?**
A: There’s actually a few needles included in the kit! About 3 of them
