It is constructed of a soft faux leather that is almost exactly the color shown. There is something odd about the color of the jacket in person though. It's hard to pinpoint, but perhaps it's that slightly more orange than brown. If I were to purchase this again, I'd choose the Coffee color, not the Brown.The faux leather has the normal hint of chemicals that all faux leather emits, but it is extremely faint. Be aware that this jacket has limited pockets, two low-outside and one inside-left chest. It is quite thick and comfortable to wear, making it a nice light to mid-winter jacket.The design is nearly as slim-fitting as shown. The sizing is very close as well. I am 5'10" 165# with a true medium build. This jacket fit well. The sleeves were a perfect length for my arms, and the chest and waist fit well.For the cost and free shipping, it is an excellent and fashionable value.The company that sells this jacket is exceedingly fast and thorough in communications, and they are very fair and speedy with returns. The style is exactly as shown, and the material is VERY soft. The body of the jacket fits great, like a slim-fit US small (I ordered a "Small" not a "US S(Tag L)", and received an Asian size medium, just FYI. I've ordered a jacket from China before, and purchased a size medium which fit perfectly). When I have my arms down at my sides or in the pockets, the sleeves feel fine and don't look too short. However they felt too tight and short while driving.
