The blender is quite powerful with a nice blade which blends smooth.Also you don’t have to shell out more unless you are a professional cook.The brand is promising, I also own a kettle from Aicock and the quality is good.I have been using it to make hot soups, salad dressings and smoothies. It seems to work really well, and I've had it about two months. I have used it to puree, which worked well, and use it beat eggs regularly. However, we use the regular attachment to beat eggs, not the whisk. It seems to have a good amount of power, better than our last one, which broke. I like this mixer. It works fine. My only complaint is that the cord is not very flexible.
