## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you wash these? How do you clean them?**
A: You may be able to gently hand wash them. I haven’t tried. We don’t clean ours. 

They are essentially pieces of string covered in wax, so not something that could likely tolerate much cleaning.

**Q: How long are the Wikki sticks for doodlers?**
A: about 10 inches

**Q: Is this age appropriate for a one year old?**
A: No. A 1yr old is still at an age where they "test" things out with mouthing. These would pose as a choming hazard and I'm not sure that potentially ingesting colored wax is safe either.

**Q: Are these similar to pipe cleaners without the metal in the middle?**
A: These are not fuzzy like pipe cleaners and no wire inside.  They are waxy feeling.  They do stick to paper.  I use them for a student who has trouble with spatial relations on paper to stay inside a designated area.   They have many other uses though.
