A: Nope!

**Q: How is it colored**
A: It is some sort of coating. It lasts a while but it eventually starts to wear off. It would probably last longer if you only hand wash.

Great flatware it’s so beautiful! Matches my kitchen perfectly! I did notice it’s silver utensils that are coated it seems like but nothing is peeling or anything which is good. I’ll update if I notice imthat with more use.

I was very surprise that it came in, what my kids called, "fancy box". Not all of them are "rose gold". Most of them are gold-ish looking. I bought them because I wanted the rose gold color, but kept them because I needed new flatware. I love the bigger spoons and seems very sturdy. If you need gold colored flatware these are for you.
