Review: Not happy but can't return ..... - Bought it a while back .... just opened it up yesterday when I finally needed it. Put new print cartridges in and tried to close the door but the hinge was broken on one side. Finally got it closed. EXTREMELY unhappy but it is too late to return it. Prints OK but not as well as the one I originally bought that I was replacing with this one. This was not a new unit, but refurbished ... I guess they didn't actually do it or "missed something".

It comes in a BIG box, about 3 feet cubed. Unboxing is easy and removing the protective film was a snap. It takes up a pretty good piece of cabinet space. I have NO patience for tech things that are a pain to install and deploy. I have even LESS patience for expensive tech things that are a pain to install and deploy. The good news is that this HP printer was easy to set up and begin using. I have a home wireless network and we use 2 laptops. I downloaded and installed the latest driver from HP onto each laptop and was instantly able to use the printer. The only thing I was unsure about was the PCL version to download, not a big deal. Well done HP! You can wirelessly print from your iPhone too. From unboxing to printing was 30 minutes at a casual coffee-drinking pace. Color replication is not good enough for photographs, but plenty good for work presentations. Print speed is plenty fast. The copy function works intuitively without even referring to the manual. It would be nice if the icon to show you which way to place your original (face up or down) was more readable, but that is very nit-picky, I made a small label. I have not tried the FAX, but that technology is very mature, my confidence is high that it will work as well as other functions. I would buy another one. It replaced a small Samsung wireless printer that would hiccup and not print from one or both of our laptops.

Bought it a while back .... just opened it up yesterday when I finally needed it. Put new print cartridges in and tried to close the door but the hinge was broken on one side. Finally got it closed. EXTREMELY unhappy but it is too late to return it. Prints OK but not as well as the one I originally bought that I was replacing with this one. This was not a new unit, but refurbished ... I guess they didn't actually do it or "missed something".

### ⭐ HP product & service DEFECTIVE

Purchased this Laserjet CM1415fnw multifunction printer 3 weeks ago. Worked fine out of the box for 1 week, and then the WiFi went dead. The radio module was stuck in OFF mode. Finding HP support is nearly impossible ...HP telephone lines gateway you thru various stations in India, v-m boxes and call hang-ups. After over a dozen attempted calls, e-m, chat line, etc to HP Support Desk, I finally got an HP tech to confirm the radio module was defective and "authorize a replacement exchange". But he said somebody would call back a few days later...more downtime for me the customer! So, a few days later, they call me back to make arrangments and the deal would be to get a "refurbished" model. I refused this offer inasmuch as I paid for a new model and will not accept anything of less quality. The HP rep (in India) then said the model is coming from HP factory direct and is better tested than what Amazon.com ships ...wow, sounds like Amazon may have a beef with that allegation. At this point, I am now planning to return the printer to Amazon for full refund. Will never buy an HP product again....clearly, HP has a defective business model for quality & service.
