Denatured alcohol is basically just pure alcohol that has toxic additives to stop people from trying to ingest it, and it’s normally used as a cleaning product, or for industrial purposes. Denatured alcohol is really bad for you, and can’t be used on skin really, so acetone is very similar in strength but naturally occurring and non toxic.
