Right up my alley.The insole is soft, the backs of the shoes don't rub my Achilles tendon raw in spite of there being no cushioning back there at all.I just have to remember that all Timberland shoes size on the larger side. I'm usually around a US 10 with most designers. That will usually give me just a little bit of toe room but not so much that my feet are swimming.I ordered 10's and I swear they're 11's in disguise. I have a ton of toe room and they slip off my heels just a tiny bit. The sole cushion is quite well too. The shoes are tight (er) than most other similar Timberland or Sebago sized shoes not in the front but the back. These are the first Timberlands I buy that I won't be able to wear the whole day round! Another problem was the color of the shoes I received. According to the description they should be dark brown, almost burgundy. Well, those received are light brown (picture submitted). I will keep them because I like their design but I am 60%(hence the 3 stars) happy with my purchase. I bought a second pair at half price.
