**Q: Does it have a backing?**
A: no it doesn't I used double sidded sticky tape, cost £1 from a local store, (lots of it all around the sides and then more strips  elsewhere) it has stuck really well, but make sure you position it straight, if you get it crooked I think it would be an awful job to unstick it!

**Q: Can it be cut/sawn by myself to fit round a cooker socket?**
A: Yes but not easily, stainless steel is horrible to cut & blunts tools really quickly. I recommend an abrasive tool such as an angle grinder or mark it out & get a professional to do it.

**Q: how do you apply or stick this to the wall?**
A: the description recommends contact adhesive or grab adhesive (like Evostick Impact or Evostick Gripfill)

**Q: I want to use this as a magnetic photo display/notice board. Whats the easiest way to fix this to a wall without the added support of a worktop?**
A: I affixed mine to the wall with strong glue (no more nails) 
It is still in place 2 years later
