I keep my plant on my kitchen counter next to the sink which gets light from the window. It is also a convenient place to water it. I set the plant in the sink and gently water the plant and gently spray the leaves. I do this every three days. Then I replace it back on the tray that has small pebbles. So far so good. I trim it, water it, and it seems to behave nicely. But I was worried that I needed to feed it, and had no idea. I found this on Amazon, and it seemed to do the trick. You wind up poking a few holes in the dirt, dropping a pellet in each hole, and them covering the holes with dirt (like I suppose the mob did with Jimmy Hoffa) - then you just walk away for a year, repeating for 5 years. Easy-peasy. I couldn't be happier. The cost works out to be $2/year for the food, or about 0.54 cents / day. Really, it is hard to see a downside to using this product.
