At first it looked great and I was very happy with what I saw. However when I actually put in on my bed it looked beautiful. Then i started to notice that every peice of lint or dust just stuck to it. It started to bother me because i have never spent so much on a duvet cover, all of my less expense duvet's do not have this issue. So I decided to wash it as per instructions. The sheet now looks older then my old duvets, the beautiful sheen that it came with is now gone ,its flat and shabby looking. So I decided to iron it. It still looks shabby and not nice like when it got here. Im very disappointed in my experience. Its a shame. It look so beautiful when it got here.😞 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LIGHTER color, GREAT quality. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2017* Photos are of the 'grape purple' 1 photo shows the normal 'warm' bedroom lighting most commonly found in bedrooms, and the other photo is natural lighting (outside)I've been using duvet covers for different white goose down comforters for over 10 years now. That being said, I've bought a lot of different ones of different quality from cheap Amazon ones to 200$ package ones at bed bath and beyond. When it comes to this brand I have ZERO complaints. I received it within 2 days of ordering (thank you prime) and the box was in good condition. I was worried about the 'grape purple' being too dark since it looks really rich and almost like a royal purple in the display photo. However I read in a separate review here that the 'dusty lilac' turned out more light 'pink'. I also saw a review of a dark charcoal color that was more of a pretty silver/gray. That being said I ordered the more solid purple color. As you can see in my photo it did indeed end up LIGHTER then the advertising studio photo.I did wash this before putting it on my bed. The material is equal to any 200$ set I've ever bought. This is indeed cotton making it breathable, but it's still very very soft and comfortable (don't worry about the word sateen). The ties on the inside were very well sewn in and sturdy (not going to fall out)Long story short- plan to receive a slightly lighter color then the photo- but do buy this! It's definitely worth it the 100$ and has a very wide array of different colors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Duvet - love the color (lilac gray) *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2018* LILAC GRAY in Queen size.Update after 1.5 years, Sept. 2019: I still have the duvet on my bed. I would say my initial hype was a little premature. The fabric softness quickly degraded after a few washes. It has held up well in terms of overall stitching. I would still recommend, but it’s not of high quality like I initially thought.Initial review, Jan. 2018:I opened the package and fell in love. This is the best purchase I’ve made from Amazon in a long time. It exceeded my expectations and is exactly what I want from my bedding. This duvet is BUTTERY SOFT! It’s softer than my 1,000 thread count Pima cotton sheets from Bed Bath and Beyond. I want to buy more! Does Eikei make sheets? Cause I will buy them! The lilac grey is the most beautiful color. I would describe as more of a dusty lavender. It has a mild and pretty sheen to the fabric.I am currently washing the duvet and couldn’t wait to post my review. I’ll update soon with photos and how it endures the wash.Update: after washing on the cold cycle and drying on the lowest setting the duvet is holding up great. It is wrinkled as you see in the pictures. If you want that hotel or magazine picture perfect bed you have to iron or press your bedding. I don’t have patience for that so I learned to love my wrinkled bed! After washing and drying the material was no longer as soft as it was right out of the package. I don’t use fabric softener, but think I may start. Ironing or pressing helps to soften sheets and fabrics as it presses the fibers back together. But as I said, I don’t iron.Still in love with this bedding! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/81129163-solid-color-egyptian-cotton-duvet-cover-luxury-bedding-set-high](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/81129163-solid-color-egyptian-cotton-duvet-cover-luxury-bedding-set-high) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
