This tablet is EXCELLENT for industrial environments. We're using it specifically for heavy inventory management in a construction field, and that includes and indoor warehouse and on site. It truly is rugged and can handle tough conditions, including a few accidental falls. The tablet has great battery life, and it boots up quickly. The Android interface is user friendly, and connecting is a breeze via wifi. He have also used the Bluetooth function with zero problems. The internal storage is gracious plenty for downloading any needed inventory and specs apps and taking pictures on site, as needed. I can certainly see us using this tablet later with more intensive apps. While we're using it our way, I can see how utilities management and surveyors could have a field day with one of these. The real hero here is the barcode scanner, which is built in to the tablet. It uses the Zebra engine, so it's no off brand, bare bones scanner. It's great quality. It can read scuffed or damaged barcodes (hallelujah!) and it scans from a decent distance. HIGHLY recommend this tablet.
