**Q: what do you need to install this in a new construction? Would it work with hot mop?**
A: This drain is designed specifically to work in a fiberglass shower pan. It is not intended to be installed in a hot-mopped shower pan that will be tiled, or similar, as it does not provide for secondary drain weep holes. You need to incorporate a split drain if hot mopping the shower pan. The hot mopped seal would go on top of the drain flange. The mortar and tile would be level with the finish drain screen.

**Q: what is the diamater of this drain?  I am looking for a 4.5"**
A: it is 4-1/4"

**Q: If my standpipe is not perfectly straight, will the gasket still make a seal and compensate?**
A: It can seal if it’s not perfectly straight but needs to be pretty straight!

**Q: What size shower drain hole will this fit? Is 4.2" the diameter of the flange?**
A: it fits a 2 inch  hole
