Product description

Review: Great for torquing fasteners and fittings when you can't use a normal socket. Decent quality. - This is one of those tools you're very glad you own when the need arises. Adjustable wrench heads are rarely the first choice. They have a little slop, they're difficult to keep tightly closed on the fastener, and they're more prone to slip and round off a fastener. If you're using this torque wrench it's likely because you don't have the room you need, or you can't get on a the fastener or fitting with a standard socket and torque wrench. This tool saves the day in those situations, combining the versatility of an adjustable wrench with a digital torque wrench. The wrench body is good quality and feels well made. The adjustable wrench head is decent quality and easy to use. The torque wrench display is easy to use and you get visual LED confirmation and audible cues as you approach your torque setting. You get the option to preset up to 6 values and the range of this tool is 5 to 99.6 ft-lbs which makes it versatile. They pretest and calibrate these and the tool has a claimed accuracy of plus or minus 2% for good accuracy. The plastic storage case is nice and helps protect your investment. I do wish the hinge area was a bit ore robust, but this likely isn't a tool you're breaking out 2 to three times a day anyway. My only real complaint is the instructions aren't as clear as they should be. There appears to be a bit of "lost in translation" gap which makes easily understanding the poorly written parts a bit more difficult. Fortunately if you toss the manual to the side and just play around with it you quickly figure it out, even if the instructions and button labels aren't intuitive at first glance. This is a nice quality tool that is very useful for specific situations where you can use a normal torque wrench and sockets. I wouldn't make this my first choice for a normal torque wrench, but this clever design is worth its price the first time it gets you out of a bind. This versatile design could mean no adapters, no conversion calculations, no removing parts to get a torque wrench where you need it and much less trouble. With that in mind I definitely recommend it. It's not perfect, but when you're in a situation where you need it, you'll be glad you own it.
Review: A BIG strongly built up to 38mm Crescent head digital HVAC Torque Wrench. RECOMMENDED - This is a hard tool to review. The handle and tool shaft are excellent with good metallurgy-good grip, good finish. HOWEVER: First, this is a Big wrench. You rarely use a torque wrench this size (38mm spread) on low/medium torque settings, UNLESS you're doing what this wrench is Intended for- which appears to be securing sensitive HVAC connections! Since for this use, sockets are useless, what they've done is employ a crescent adjustable head instead. As for the other, general type uses, (wheel lug nuts etc.) while Crescents , at least well made ones, can be VERY useful in many situations, they are not the hot 'sauce' you need when applying some real "MOOSE" to the head of a bolt or lugnut as they not only have fewer contact points on the bolt, compared to a socket, they also can 'move' slightly when heavy force is applied. Result? They 'can' round off your bolt/nut. For low or medium torque settings, this torque wrench is fine, but High Torque? Not so much. The second possible issue I have with the wrench is the included operators manual for figuring out the electronics...Lets just say they should consider employing a better translator for the english speaking markets. I'm not even sure that the manual included was for this version of the tool:( The description and instructions in the listing are more helpful, AND, if you read the whole thing there, it points you to where you can download an excellent manual for the tool:) Again, the actual construction of the tool is very good, the question becomes are you going to be happy with the Crescent styled adjustable head, over the std. socket driver? My own feeling is that depending on your expected use, this wrench might be just want you want...or NOT. That's YOUR call, not mine. BTW, the wrench I received gave very acceptable accurate readings:) 5 Stars from me for build quality and Design for it's INTENDED use, i.e. HVAC. RECOMMENDED for those who desire a Crescent type head.

### ⭐⭐ Could be a good tool, but manual is incomprehensible and the wrench head is shoddy
*by O***A on February 26, 2026*

I have several other Disen tools, and I have found them all to be great- useful, good value, durable. They missed the mark with this one. It comes in a sturdy, hard plastic case. Good. I prefer real hinges to the plastic strip, but unlikely to come apart in my use. The tool feels heavy and solid. Good again. Unfortunately, that is where the goodness ends. The handle is meant to be used with an adjustable wrench head, which is included. It’s a solid feeling tool, but there is way too much free play in the free jaw, in both axes. This makes it difficult to secure to the nut and prone to rounding it off. There are 2 batteries included, and opening the battery compartment is a bit challenging. Not terrible, but it requires bending a small plastic tab on the compartment cover. If that tab breaks, the tool is bricked. Not a good design. Two copies of the instruction manual are included (at least in my case), but inspection shows that both refer to a standard ratchet torque wrench, not this adjustable wrench. Fortunately, the Amazon has a link to download the correct manual. I open the manual. It gives instructions for battery insertion, and I turn on the wrench, using the button labeled “C” (?). The display lights up. The primary numbers that show current/peak torque are easy to read, even in bright sun. The secondary numbers, indicating units and preset settings, are difficult to impossible to read in bright light or even bright shadow, but fine for use in a garage or workshop. It’s easy to set the units- press the U button, and it cycles through the 5 options. It’s also easy to select between Peak and Track mode, which shows either peak or instantaneous readings. The Preset mode almost broke me. The manual states, “In the boot state, add or subtract, and the preset data group area starts to flash. Select the data group to be set.” Translation: Turn wrench on. Use up/down buttons to get to one of 10 presets, indicated by P1, P2… in the display. Long press Up and the P will flash. Press M and the Set digits will flash. Use the up/down to set the desired torque setting (you can also change units if you want), press M to confirm your desired setting. Now you are ready to torque to the Preset target value. When the applied torque is 80% of the set value, the green light comes on and the wrench beeps slowly. At 90%, the light turns yellow(ish), and the beeping is faster. When the set value is reached (or exceeded), the light is red and the sound is steady. This part works, although it’s different and not as easy to detect as the click that other torque devices use. Not too bad once it’s figured out, but the manual provided only hints about going about it. I still have not figured out exactly to use the Data preservation feature- claims to be able to store 400 sets of data. This would be a great tool with a more robust battery cover, better display, better wrench head, and a decent owners manual. An optional head that allowed use of standard sockets would also be nice and would make this an all-around do-everything torque tool.
