I use this primarily to record tennis videos. To use the power bank I had to open the battery compartment and leave it open. As the GoPro is water sealed, it did not have a slot to insert the USB-C port. The idea that a ball might hit it directly and the SD card might fall out and damage itself always bothered and worried me (not the battery, as a replacement battery is better than lost data). Luckily that didn’t happen and even if it did now, I would not be worried about that specific issue at the least. This fits perfectly, it locks and opens without any issues. The slot for the usb really makes life so easy, as it keeps everything in the battery compartment secured but be able to charge at the same time.
