### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proof this works
*by T***R on December 5, 2023*

I’ve never tanned anything before, so this is my first experience. If you follow the instructions as they say, you will get a good leather product. This ermine was attacking my chickens and I shot it with my 9mm handgun which I thought was neat and figured I’d try to tan it. The end result is a super soft pelt, the hide turned into a soft leather which could be used to make gloves etc. which video and pictures will show. I accidentally spilled some of the tanning oil on the fur which after it was done drying and breaking I scrubbed with dawn soap, rinsed, then cold air dried in the dryer. The video is the end result. For breaking I ran it over the edge of the counter 4 times per day, 10 minutes each, for 3 days. Looking forward to tanning pelts now, lots of work…. But fun to do. I have not tried the scrapper yet, although I believe it’ll work as it should for smaller animals.
