We are using it for yum-yum sauce. It doesn't appear too be very durable, but time will tell. One complaint: The plug doesn't descend back into the bottom when the handle is released, but must be pressed down.EDIT: The top part has broken completely off - the screw-on part - rendering it completely useless and making a mess.
