I was able to assemble the box in 10 minutes. Just be careful not to screw it in too tight. Wait until everything is in place to tighten and secure the screws if you're afraid of cracking. Overall, it feels sturdy. It fits on my plant stand and looks aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the screws, but will leave them off unless I travel.
