These plates are much easier to put on than hooks and wire so that is nice. You have to drill the plates onto the frame (two plates with two screws on each plate). Then you drill the two magnets onto the wall (one screw each). That's it. They give a little leeway to move around as well so easier for spacing, leveling and aligning. They are super strong, especially if you put on two sets for large frames (over 24 inches or 15 pounds). They also sit nice and flat against the wall as well so a cleaner look than a wire hangar.
