The texture and depth of flavour is just extraordinary. They are fairly thick cut, but not too thick, have just the right amount of crispness and are not at all greasy. And then there is the flavour. How is it possible to imbue a humble crisp with such a depth of flavour? I've never come across anything like it. The rich smokiness of the ham combined with tangy pickle - it's just perfect. If you can manage it, they are best eaten slowly with a glass of wine or a pint of real ale, but be warned, they are dangerously moreish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A thick cut above your ordinary crisp *by D***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2011* The extra thickness per crisp of this brand is immediately obvious by both touch and taste - which translates into less "crumbs" at the bottom of the bag.
