I don't know what it was. At first, I thought it might be a ring worm because I was working in some heavy brush and brambles while clearing a piece of land. Then I thought it might have been a recluse spider bite. Whatever the cause, I was washing it several times a day with the Puracyn spray and covering the ulcer with a saturated gauze pad between washings. It never got better over 6 weeks but, then, it never got worse. When I got back from a trip to Santa Fe, I ordered some of the Hydrogel and began to use it like one might use an antibiotic ointment. Wow! What a difference a few days made. I changed the bandage twice a day and the ulcer has shrunk from a dime-sized hole to a pencil point in about a week. I anticipate complete resolution in a matter of days. If you want background information about Puracyn (earlier called Microcyn) I refer you to a Forbes Magazine article Feb 28, 2005 entitled "Holy Water".The Gel form is great for areas like the face, where liquid product tends to run off.Both products are a miracle as far as I am concerned in how fast they heal wounds, and with no side effects to worry about from antibiotics. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stuff *by T***C on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 12, 2013* This stuff is great! I work outside a lot and frequently get cuts on my fingers and hands.
