After recovering the refrigerant, I used the vacuum pump two times in August to evacuate the A/C systems in my two cars after replacing the compressor control valves.On April 14, 2015, I replaced leaky valve cores and needed to evacuate my car again. I turned on the pump but the motor turned intermediately or not at all and did not pull a vacuum. I have used it only one other time and it is full of clean oil. There are no other maintenance requirements but it appears that the pump has failed. I asked the vendor, OneBigOutlet, for a replacement. There only response was “I am sorry but your order is out of warranty.” I understand that these purchases cannot be open ended but clearly this unit was defective. Because I sparingly used it, by the time I discovered the unit was bad, it’s warranty had expired. The A/C kit worked fine but the pump was a dud since it failed after two uses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great! I saved a ton of money buy doing the ac repair myself. there are a ton of help videos on utube that helped me operate the pump and do the job right!It has been 3 months now and ac still works great in my 19997 Pontiac Bonneville SE. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Budget item *by L***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2016* The quality if the dials is questionable. Kind of weak.
