Review: The best silicone spoons I know - These are the best silicone spoons I know because of their shape and the fact that the edge is very thin so is ultra flexible. They can scrape things out of the bowl so well you hardly need to wash it up. The downside is that that thin edge is a bit fragile and will probably break up at some stage. The spoon is still perfectly usable if this happens but it doesn't look as nice or work quite as well. So you may find yourself replacing them from time to time. But for me the benefits outweigh this small disadvantage.

**Q: Would this be suitable to fold dry ingredients into cake mixture, please?**
A: The spoon has a soft edge which is great for getting every last bit out of the bowl but I prefer to fold dry ingredients in with a large metal spoon - hope this helps!

These are the best silicone spoons I know because of their shape and the fact that the edge is very thin so is ultra flexible. Decided to purchase 2 of these in French Grey as I recently changed the colour scheme in my kitchen, however I’ve been using this same design (in pink) by Zeal for over 6 years now. Another reviewer mentioned the possibility of eventual wear and tear at the thin end of the spoon? well all I can say is that I’ve been using my old one usually more than once daily for years for baking and cooking at high temps, and it’s still going strong with no breakages or tears. It’s probably a little pricier than some silicone spatulas, but as someone who’s also used the cheaper brands in the past, I honestly think it’s great VFM, as not only does it look good, handle well, and is a must for anyone who doesn’t want to destroy their non-stick pans, but the square-tipped end moulds itself to any shape ensuring there’s virtually no wastage left behind in pots or mixing bowls - meaning less washing up too! Items arrived promptly and well packed. Included are some pics to help show what great nick my old (pink) spatula is in, against the new one.
