Love the gel
I don’t love it as much as I do my alpha-gel switch with the kuru toga rotating lead but it is great for what it is. I love how squishy the gel is, it allows me to write for a while without my fingers getting sore. My only critique is that they’ve gotta start putting bigger erasers on these things!

Pink Squishy writing goodness
Very light very comfortable very squishy grip. My bf has one in Royal Blue and he loves it. Really comfortable for college students who have to write pages and pages of notes.Pros: lightvery comfortable gripslim (I hate bulky pencils)comes in great colors (the pink , blue and green are really nice)comfortable for note taking and marathon writing (most comfortable one I have ever owned)eraser has metal backing (this is very important because if it didn't the pencil would be unusable once the eraser gets so small that you can't take it out to fill it with lead)Cons: wish it was made of metal instead of plastic (the plastic make it look and feel cheap)bf wishes the eraser was biggerwhich it rotated like the kuru toga line

good
I reasoned the 5 stars because at its price of purchase $7.29, it was exceptionally worth it.It is a fancy pencil and it looks cool to me. Those are my main reasons for liking the pencil, but I guess for practical purposes:I think the pencil holds lead well and it doesn't get stuck and the pencil is constructed such that nothing shakes when you write (It looks sturdy). The eraser is tiny, but I expected that. An ideally practical pencil for me will have a mono quality twist eraser on top and still be light weight.

Soft grip dampens motion of fingers during writing
PROS-The grip is initially very comfortable to hold-The tip is solid with no mechanical play (however this is pro is mitigated due to the con)CONS-The grip is soft not only on the surface, but feels like it's soft almost to the core of the pencil. The result feels like using a gummy candy as a grip, while it may sound comfortable, you quickly realize the grip dampens the motion of your fingers as you write (i.e. you have to apply more pressure with your fingers any time you want to change direction during writing - which is a lot, unless you plan to use this pencil only to draw long lines). In the attached picture, I'm pressure the end of a plastic pen against the grip to show how much the grip deforms under light pressure.I would prefer if the grip layer wasn't so thick; a thinner grip layer would provide a soft interface between the fingers and the pencil, while providing enough structural stability to write quickly and neatly. The grip material would be perfect if they wanted to make a stress ball. The material feels like it would be rated Shore 00-20.

Wow
I thought my pens and pencils were squishy before, but I was settling for less than the best. The glide on this pencil is sooo smooth. I do press down at a bit of an odd angle when I write so I break the graphite when I get too intense but this pencil takes it. Because my hand is so tense when I write, it gets sore after not too long. This keeps the edge of my middle finger bone well cushioned while writing. Love the slim pencils, much easier to write with than the wider barrel ones.

Absolutely Love It!
I'm a pencil / pen fanatic. The first time my friend from Japan ordered me this pencil several years ago, and I loved using it ever since. Now I found the most updated version of its pencil and it's still just as amazing with its gooey writing precision! The pencil is very thin and feels very sleek. On top of that, I love writing with it because of the gooey grip :) If you want a nice long lasting mechanical pencil designed for you to write for long periods of time, I'd definitely recommend this one!
