## Description

There is no more valuable tool in the refinisher's arsenal than the buffing brush. Gone are the days of buffing with towels, t-shirts, or hand brushes. The natural tampico bristles of this buffing brush allow you to get into all of the cracks and crevices of your piece with minimal effort, while it glides across large flat surfaces with ease. Imagine buffing an entire armoire or chest of drawers in 3-4 minutes, without breaking a sweat! Or even better... all those spindles on that set of Windsor chairs? Mere minutes of work with the buffing brush! This brush measures 4 inches in diameter, and has densely packed bristles that measure out 1 1/2 inches from the disk. It can be used with nearly any furniture wax applied over chalk-based or mineral paints, and works equally well with restoration waxes for antiques. Instructions: Allow the wax to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions. Hold the drill brush level to the surface, with minimal pressure, until you get the hang of it. It tends to want to run away from you if you are positioning it incorrectly. Done!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not perfect but well worth the money for the result you can get with this buffer

The bolt that attaches the shaft to the wooden plate was only finger tight when it arrived. I can see how some people have complained about it spinning off. After tightening the bolt firmly, I had zero issues with the base spinning off. There are lots of loose fibers when new so take a few minutes to spin off the loose fibers and you should be good to go. Be careful with the wooden edge close to work surfaces that are contoured. They are sharply cut and will mark your piece if you are not careful. One way to correct this would be to sand the edge where the bristles are attached round so if it does come in contact with the piece you are working on, it is less likely to damage the finish. The buffer works well and the bristles are quite soft. Be sure to remove most of the heavy build up of wax before using this buffer as it will just push the wax around and not bring it to a shine as it should. Well worth the money for the results you can get with this buffer.

    Worked better than expected

I am a "beginner" when it comes to chalk paint and wax, and did a bit of research before starting my first project. I am painting and waxing a large dining room table, and when I came across this wax buffing drill, I figured this would speed up the process and give me a better outcome. I watched a video online on how to do it and it looked really easy. When I received the brush, I worried about the bristles being too stiff and scratching my piece. But that wasn't the case and all. Once I got the hang of the brush on my drill and how to hold it, it made the process go so quickly and gave a nice sheen to it that I wasn't able to get by hand buffing.

Saves a lot of elbow grease!

I used this attachment to buff my kitchen cabinets after I painted and waxed them with Amy Howard chalk paint and wax. I have painted several pieces before and just used a t-shirt to buff, but because I was doing such a large area, I decided to try this buffing drill because buffing requires a lot of elbow grease. The attachment does a great job! I did have a little trouble at first because I let it slip over and it nicked my paint a couple of places. So you do have to be careful and hold it very tightly. I think a lot of my problem is I was having to hold the drill upright since I was buffing on a vertical surface. I think it would be easier to hold it more steadily if you were using it on a horizontal surface like a table top. Overall, I think this attachment does a great job buffing wax, and I would recommend it.
