It kept me warm watching an outdoor parade on a 50 degree evening while not over-heating me in a crowded restaurant. Wash the sweater in a gentle wash after it arrives since new wool sweaters tend to give off fluff balls out of the box (my only criticism). Otherwise this is an attractive addition to my wardrobe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice. *by A***S on April 2, 2018* I have ordered several of these sweaters from this seller for several family members. We all like the sweaters, the way they look and fit. I'm a little wary of the construction as the stitching at the sleeve to shoulder looks a little bit "iffy" but time will tell. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the knitting gauge is nice ( not chunky or cheap looking). One issue has appeared with wearing the sweaters and that is that they "pill" and bits of yarn/fiber drop off all the time - we find them everywhere we have been while wearing the sweaters - floors, countertops, etc. We have not washed any of the sweaters yet so as of now can only hope they come through a washing without any problems, and, in fact, I'm hopeful that washing will solve the problem of the loose fibers dropping off the sweater. I have wools by Armani, Banana Republic, Henry Cotton & British-makers, cottons by Jos Banks, Nordstrom, Brooks Brothers & J. Crew and blends by many others---and the Chauder ranks high (highest for cost-benefits ratio). The material is surprisingly soft, fairly thick and well-woven. The neck area is sumptuous and comfy. I like the straight-cut/ full body, with banded wrists and waist. CORRECTION—ONE CAUTION: On the Amazon page, DON’T use the size chart in the PHOTO next to the image of the sweater.. USE the Amazon drop-down size chart---because the Chauder is a bit smaller than traditional fits.
