It raises the temperature of 3-11℃ above the ambient temperature. - The PVC surface is water proof (but the pad is not suitable to use in liquid). An internal temperature safety will shut off the power if the heat pad surface temperature is higher than 50 (+/- 5) ℃. There are two fire resistant cotton sheets beneath the PVC cover. The heating wire is double insulated. For illustration, see Pic 2 above. - It is 30cm (12'') in diameter and is safe for use with both glass and plastic fermenters, carboys and buckets. It is easy to clean by wiping off and easy to store. - Improve the quality of your beer and wine whilst reducing fermentation time with this electric heating pad. It is perfect to use if you need to keep your brew in a spare room, garage of cellar where the temperature is lower than the ideal for brewing. Please note that there is no temperature controller on the mat, so regular check is required to ensure the proper temperature being maintained. - One free stick-on thermometer is included in the package. Please notice that the liquid temperature is about 0.5-1.5 ℃ lower than the temperature shown on the stick-on thermometer on the container. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07FKP51LN | | Best Sellers Rank | 53,083 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 5 in Fermentation Heating & Temperature Control | | Brand | HopsBrew | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (826) | | Date First Available | 12 July 2018 | | Item Weight | 480 g | | Material | PVC, rubber | | Model Number | localization-B07FKP51LN | | Product Dimensions | 30 x 30 x 1 cm; 480 g | ## Images ![25W Brewing Heat Pad for Fermentation – 30cm Waterproof Electric Heating Mat for Glass & Plastic Fermenters, Increases Temp by 3-11°C, Auto Shut-Off Safety, Includes Stick-On Thermometer - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61kEM4gAtuL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you think this can be used for bread proofing?** A: yes .place in base of cardboard box, or similar, pop in bread covered, and shut lid. I put a couple of slats of wood on mat and bowl on top of them to avoid touching. **Q: If I were to use this to heat a box would it heat up the air quickly or is it only for heating the bottom of a tub which then heats the liquid inside?** A: Wont do to heat a box as it is not hot just slightly warm. Best used for brewing as low heat. **Q: The replies i had saying the pad is cold on top because the bin is sucking out the heat is laughable. No heat equalls no heat** A: Have you turned it over? If it still doesn't work Send it back!! **Q: Will a filled 25 litre (5 gallon) fermentation bucket be too heavy to place on this mat? Will the heat still distribute just fine?** A: Yes, it's not a problem, just give it a mix as usual.. makesure any surface is heatproof though!! ## Frequently Bought Together - 25W Brewing Heat Pad for Fermentation – 30cm Waterproof Electric Heating Mat for Glass & Plastic Fermenters, Increases Temp by 3-11°C, Auto Shut-Off Safety, Includes Stick-On Thermometer - Home Brew Heat Heating Belt Pad for Beer Wine Spirits fermenter+ sticker on thermometer - Brew Syphon Tube, 2m Home Brew Beer Siphon Filter, Syphon Pump Manual Soft Pipe Hose Wine Beer Brewing Making Equipment Reused (78.74in) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/77816399-25w-brewing-heat-pad-for-fermentation-30cm-waterproof-electric-heating](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/77816399-25w-brewing-heat-pad-for-fermentation-30cm-waterproof-electric-heating) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
