I still wanted a memory foam-style pillow, one that wasn't made of shredded fabrics or feather alternatives that my head sunk down in between, suffocating me. I need something with a slight bit of firmness for me to sleep on my side, but with a gentleness to my ears. I did buy a bamboo quilted cover to put over this one because I needed it just about a half inch more of height, and it is now perfect for me. I'm so glad it came in a two-pack because I have a backup for when I travel. Really really happy with this pillow purchase. They are also a lot softer and less supportive than I was looking for but I love the size and they work well in my pillow stack on the bed. Great for putting behind you when sitting up in bed.
