I have been fiddling with audio settings in my PC on and off to get this to work properly for about a year. This includes speaking with GTs customer support many times which to their credit worked very hard for weeks to try to help me fix my issues. I use high impedence headphones and aftermarket sound equipment so I don't think the developers necessarily controlled for such a situation. That being said, I finally got it working very well and I love it. The vibration feels responsive to the proper tones and base.
