## Description

The X1222USB is a step up from the X1204USB with six mono mic inputs. These two additional channels can also be used for stereo line-level devices, such as keyboards or sound modules. The X1222USB also comes equipped with channel Inserts for inputs 1-4, a stereo 7-band graphic EQ, which can be assigned to the main or monitor buses, and our proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection System. Other features include full-sized faders for MON and FX SENDs, our XPQ 3D stereo surround effect (creates a broader, enhanced stereo image), and a handy Voice Canceller function for removing vocals from pre-recorded tapes and CDs for “instant-karaoke” applications.

**Q: Does the USB output allow multi-track recording or is it just the mixed output signal?**
A: Mixed output only..

**Q: Does it have 2 xlr imputs for my krk rokit 5 speakers?**
A: Do you mean 2 xlr outputs? If so, yes, it does along with several 1/4" outputs as well. Not to sound like a jerk, but there are pictures on Amazon that clearly show the outputs and inputs of the board (along with the specifications in type on the page). :)

**Q: Does this mixer have a means to kill effects maybe via a footswitch for talk between songs in a live situation?**
A: The Stereo Aux 3 (FX) return volume knob can be turned down to 0 to stop all FX from going to the Main Output during dialogue between songs.  Alternatively if you are not using Sub 1-2, you can push the button next to the Stereo Aux 3 (FX) return volume knob to temporarily send the FX to Sub 1-2 instead of the Main Output while you talk between songs.

**Q: Can this board be used with powered speakers instead of an amp?**
A: Yes you can

After owning this for a while, I can say I love this mixer. It does what I wanted and expected it to do. I use this for my drums (not really recording, but more so for live monitoring w/ in ear headphones), and I use it for gaming (just hooking up a mic and phone etc). The controls seem to be built well. The faders are smooth, as are the knobs. The price was reasonable too. What I really like is having the USB option. It is perfect for recording or hooking up a mic for gaming. Also, I have a set up that allows me to use an aux send as my phone mic. It's really nice.
