I'd be fine with a really well thought-out case design that is ...

It's okay. If you are into funky looks, might be for you. I'd be fine with a really well thought-out case design that is boring solid black. Lots of fan placement options and even switch (the funky caution-striped thing on top covers a 3 position switch) to run a few manually. If you are a gamer who builds a machine and never gets back inside the case, you might love this one. As for me, I long ago gave up keeping covers on my personal home PCs ... always upgrading, moving things around, trying new setups like RAIDs, etc. As I was building the system in this box I kept seeing things that would have made routing cables, etc so much easier. But all that is sort of minor, really. The big issue is the cheap, no let me rephrase that, the moronic method they have for securing drives. There is this little twist thing that locks down a cleap plastic pin that doesn't quite line up with the screw holes in the drive. I used to build systems as part of my job and I've never come across a more assinine way to mount drives. I broke a couple of the pins off trying to get things to work. Frustrated and wondering if I had a drive with nonstandard hole placement, I tried literally a half-dozen CD/DVD drives I have around and most didn't line up right. There's a reeeeeeason there are slots v. precise little holes in the metal mounting bays for drives! There is no way to use screws (at least on my version of the case, trust me, I know how to look for little holes) to secure the drives, so my drives are sort of floating, with only a funky wire thing holding them in on the front. I'm okay with that as I don't move my box around. But I found this to be a major disappointment. Not quite enough to drop to 2 stars, but a long, LONG way from 4 of 5.

    Exactly as described

*by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2013*

Does exactly what is descried, plus has tool-less drive bays that also fit my SSD drive. The top drive bay actually isn't useable for much due to the cables for the case running through there, but even so there is more than enough room with all the bays below. The gray panels in front can be moved and replaced, but putting them back is a little tricky with the powerful clips trying to punch them back through the case. Front fans have a protective panel that can be removed with thumb screws to expose a nice clean-able air filter and simply slides out. Same for the bottom fan for the power supply, which you DO have to provide for yourself (not included with this box), but I used a separate 825 watt psu. Plenty of tapered holes and spaces for cables to run without getting in the way and all my drives, motherboard, etc. fit with no problem. I actually didn't have a need for the fan switch on top of the case, with my mobo controlling all the fans but someone else will probably find it useful. Great buy, solid metal case designed to take a licken' and keep ticken', with plenty of room for all your parts.

    Good with a couple caveats

*by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2014*

Pros: Looks good, includes two 120mm fans, intake air filters, lots of space, rolled interior edges. I bought another 120mm for intake and air flow is great.Cons: expansion bays in the rear are flimsy and cannot be re-attached (punched metal). Front audio connectors are on the short side and require careful planning to route. Fan speed controller is a joke, I thought it would be a pot dial or at least a few useful speeds, but that is not the case. It is a janky little switch that goes from useless to full blast.Personal preference: The drive bay covers don't look as good once you put a disc drive. Red button looks cheap next to the metal accents and the dog tag.Overall: Very good for the money, aside from the caveats above it had a lot of useful features at this price point.
