They do not travel as well as idividualy small boxed mints, the edges are not as crisp. That does not matter to me, I just like the the mints, and its cheaper to purchase in bulk.

A: They are not individually wrapped.

**Q: Are these the harder variety that you get in the 3.5 oz US packages, or the softer ones that are sold in the Netherlands?**
A: These are softer than hard candies.  These are shipped to the U.S. and I haven't tried the ones in country in the Netherlands.  I travel a lot so they help keep me focused when I'm flying or driving.  They are not as strong tasting and much softer than the hard Lifesaver candies and don't tear my teeth up like the lifesavers.

**Q: how much per ounce?**
A: If the 6.6 lb. box is $40.00, the price per ounce would be about $0.38. Hope this helps.

A: 726 mints should be in the box!

I love these Peppermints, they are the best out there. Better to buy it in a bulk box which comes with a sealed bag inside. Good value but does take a little while to arrive.
