Review: Good for Air conditioner - Living in a basement apartment comes with its own pros and cons, one of those being portable air conditioners aren’t able to have a constant drain due to the windows being high off the ground. With this pump I’ve been able to have a constant drain that’s around 5.4 feet above ground. With it being a condensation pump it’s common for bacteria to grow so ensure you clean it often (I just pour a cup of vinegar through the system without even dismantling anything). I did melt one of the intake covers for a nice secure fit to my hose and it’s been perfect.
