I bought the grey 12 compartment version and have filled every one. I've extended it to the full 700 mm extent and it fits in my drawer perfectly. So there's room for longer items to either side. For example: carving set and longer utensils fit easily. The unit doesn't fully fill the drawer space - leaving about 40 mm to either the front or back of a standard kitchen drawer. I opted to leave the gap at the back where it is hardly visible and now holds matches, freezer bags and long skewers.
