These markers can be refilled with water-based acrylic paint. The tops twist off. We do not sell refill paint, but paint for refilling markers can be found. Thanks again! ArtShip Design **Q: Would these work to decorate a white volleyball?** A: Hi and thanks for the question. Yes, they should, depending on material, usage, and expectation. We believe any "paint" on a flexible ball surface will wear off / peel off over time if the ball is used. They are not a dye. These acrylic pens do work on leather, rubber, fabric, and most surfaces. If you decide to try and are not satisfied, please let us know! Thanks! -ArtShip Design **Q: Will these show up in a black motorcycle helmet?** A: Hi and thanks for asking. Yes, especially the lighter colors should show on the helmet. If you try the pens and are not happy with the result, let us know, and we'll stand by our satisfaction guarantee. Thanks! - ArtShip Design **Q: What is the life expectancy on these. I have ordered 2 sets already and both have been sent back. Im only using for small details, hands , eyes, lips** A: Hi and thanks for asking. The shelf life should be 1 year or more, however, it is not uncommon for paint to dry in the tips. If this happens, rinsing the tips with warm water will usually resolve the issue.
