I figured out that the description was referring to the screen size, not the iPhone size - which is strange since it doesn't fit the screen, it fits the iPhone. Since there is a lot of discussion in the reviews about whether other holsters fit well, with or without cases, I would have preferred to know the actual inside dimensions so that I could decide for myself whether and how it would fit.As a preface to this review, you should know that I previously owned and loved an iPod Touch and carried it for several years in an iLuv holster, which I loved even more. Sadly, iLuv isn't selling them anymore. That holster was nearly perfect from the minute I tried it in the store (something you can't do on Amazon), and will serve as my standard of comparison.I have owned and used this CAPRI I holster with my iPhone 6 for a few days now. It was hard to get the phone in the first time, because the ends of the case are sewn so they encroach on the inside volume of the holster. I have squished and massaged those ends so it's easier to get the phone in now; so it's not too early to write this review. Using my calipers, I can now report that the iPhone, including buttons and a glass screen protector, measures 5.440" x 2.655" x 0.285"; and the inside of this CAPRI I (holster) case measures 2.875" deep and 5.420" x 0.370" at the bottom and 5.455" x 0.460" at the top - perhaps more than most need to know to buy a case for an iPhone, but I consider it a persistent personal attachment, and didn't want something too hard to use or too bulky to wear. It's length at the bottom is less than my iPhone, but since it seems to be actual real leather (from a cow), I think it will eventually conform so that it is long enough to fit the iPhone nicely. Squishing it increases the length as it decreases its thickness - which is presently excessive. Eventually I think it will fit a little loosely, and that will be nice; but that this whole question could have been avoided if it were made with the seams inside rather than outside, so it wrapped around the phone like the iLuv did, rather than with seams on the outside that pinch the phone. It's been another couple weeks, and I'm adding that this holster is getting gradually less tight.The clip is nice and strong, and well attached, but too tight. It's a little hard to get it onto a 0.125" thick belt that has tapered edges. To get it onto a 0.125" thick belt with rounded edges is almost impossible. I have to jam my fingers in to open the spring clip while getting it started on the edge of my Levis belt. The clip leather seems tough, but I'm pretty sure the amount of force required will wear through it and the belt before too long. I hope the clip inside is metal, because I plan to try to bend it by prying it open, and if it's plastic it will break ... The clip rotates nicely, but what's the point? It makes the holster stick out farther where it snags on doorways and seatbelts. If you want a vertical holster, buy the other model. I actually did bend the clip by prying it open, and now it's easier to get it on my belt.The front and back walls of the CAPRI I are pretty rigid, and that provides ok protection for the larger iPhone, but they flex like maybe there is new cardboard inside of them that will soften with time, like my iLuv did. I wish they were more rigid and had thin glass-reinforced plastic (like thin reused PC board) in them so that it would provide better protection that's the same after 2-5 years.The hole in the bottom is too small to admit the finger of a medium-sized adult male, making extracting the iPhone so far a two-handed maneuver. I should be able to flip up the flap with my left pointer finger, thrust my left center finger up through the bottom hole in the holster, and end up holding the iPhone in the palm of that same left hand, in one easy action. Can't. The hole in the iLuv was just big enough - and it also had a really nice sling of smooth, tough, flexible fabric covering the hole inside, and protecting the i-thing. I'm not sure how or whether I can fix this problem with this CAPRI I. A cobbler would have to either unstitch the whole bottom edge, or cut and patch over the edge of the enlarged hole - and that would encroach on the iPhone. Thanks to the high-contrast thread color of the CAPRI I, a patch will not look subtle. After a couple more weeks I'm back to report that, while I still can't get a finger very far into the bottom hole, I've learned that I can open my hand far enough to pinch the phone between thumb and center finger of my left hand the long way, and the holster has loosened up enough that I can pull the phone out of the holster with the same hand I use to open the flap and push up the phone. It's like palming a basketball, but should get easier with time.The magnetic closure is nice, and holds the edge of the flap snugly against the holster front. The edge could use a small tab contour at the front that is easier to pry up with my pointer finger.The high-contrast thread color brings up another point. It's an i-Phone holster, meant to be worn on a belt. That doesn't cry out for fancy-looking contrasting colors of leather and stitching. I would have preferred a less conspicuous design. Muggers might like this. That said, the workmanship on this CAPRI is really excellent. After a couple weeks of use though, the tan inner lining is starting to chafe and peel behind the belt clip, which makes me concerned about the quality of the leather. If it wears through, it could expose my iphone to the metal fastener that attaches the belt clip to the holster. I hope the designers at monsoon and iLuv go back to the drawing board. I'll be watching. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moonson Capri for iPhone 5s *by R***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2016* This Moonson Capri case replaced an identical case I purchased some years ago (by the same manufacturer, I think). The Capri case has one drawback: it was excessively tight during the first few weeks of use and is just beginning to loosen up a bit. I believe the reason is that my iPhone 5s has the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield protector installed on both the screen and back of my iPhone. These tend to be tacky, so the inside lining of the Capri case adheres to the ArmorShield protectors. (ArmorShield is a great product by the way.) Other than this problem, I recommend the Capri. Well made, priced right, and worth the break-in period. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cheap interior lining, nice exterior *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2015* The look of the exterior is lovely. It holds the phone snuggly, which is fine if you don't use a cover--and I don't. However, the thin faux leather lining starting peeling away within five days of use. I'm not hard on cases. The last one I had for 4 years. I'm not hard on them. The lining is thinner than plastic wrap and a lot less durable.
