What a strong fragrance! This tells me it's is a highly concentrated good quality oil. The smell of lemon is powerful & almost immediately lifts your spirits! I put a single drop in my handkerchief & the smell lingered on for hours! And the smell was just divine. In the monsoons, I use room freshener but I read somewhere that they are not good for health so I have now begun to use essential oils and this oil is right at the top! It has that amazing citrus-y fragrance that really does wonders to the atmosphere.Although most say Lemon oil is good for oily skin, I found it very good for my dry skin too. I mix a drop or two with coconut oil & apply at night and I wake up with such a glow on my face! Once, I mixed it with Shea butter and that made a good combination too. Really brightened up my skin.Lemon oil is said to have anti ageing skin benefits & some even say it lightens skin over a period of time. I have patchy, uneven skin that gets worse during colder months and I am really hopeful this oil will have a beneficial effect on the skin. Fingers crossed!With regards to skin application it is very very important to not step out in the sun as this is a photosensitive oil. Most citrus oils are photosensitive, which in simple words means they react adversely upon contact with the sun. If you step out in the sun with lemon oil on you, you may tan badly or worse, get a sunburn. I do not want to take any chance so I just don't apply this oil on my skin (or hair) during the day. Why risk it when we can reap all benefits of the oil when applied at night!Lastly, the oil was packed fine & reached me on time. The mfg was 11/2017 with expiry on 11/2019. Wish I had received a slightly newer stock but then again essential oils are potent for a really long time so it's alright.Bought it for Rs 245 & it's value for money all the way!Will I buy again? Yes!
