I did and knew beforehand that the Amps/Volts/Watts were not exactly the same in at least one category. But I needed a WORKING battery that fits my aging HP Envy 17T exactly and this one does. HP still can "eventually" send me an exact replacement including in power, but good grief an OEM replacement is spendy these days! I gave this one a 5-Star rating mainly on that it came so quickly and that the price is reasonable in this inflationary environment. Battery does run down rather quickly as older 17" full power Windows 10 computers does suck the power away.
