Review: 実践的イラスト本 - ファンタジーからＳＦまで手広く描かれている海外イラストレーターの方の本です いかにして実際に存在しない光景やモンスター、メカをデザイン、 描画するかについて詳しく書かれています。 粘土でモデルを作ったり、場合によってはジオラマまで作ったりするこだわりはさすがプロと思わせ られます。 またかっこいい構図のとりかたなどの解説はかなり実践的でありあまり類書がないものです 筆者は油彩を主に使ったリアルな画風ですが漫画的なイラストにも十分応用できると思われます。 洋書ではありますが文章は平易でかなり絵も多いのである程度英語が読める人なら十分理解できると思います、絵のレベルもジャンルを問わずかなり高く眺めているだけでも面白いです。 絵描きの人はもちろんこの手のイラスト（フラゼッタ、パイル、ＮＣワイエス等）が好きな人にもお勧めっです。
