Even whilst in a flat surface there was little magnetic attraction between these magnets and the pens, to the point that many of the squares are completely unusable due to the poor magnetic power. Once on the wall, 2 things keep repeatedly happening: 1) the magnets suddenly lose power and the planner/pens keep falling to the floor 2) the adhesive on the back of the magnets keeps failing and the magnets keep falling off the wall.
