It is equivalent to extending your arm span, helping you to easily hang into quick hangs and ropes. Even when you encounter a protection point that cannot be hooked by hand during the climbing route, you can use the rope lanyard to achieve a safe connection to the protection point. Review: Light, easy - Easy to throw in a pack. Seems to be holding up well so far! Light. Review: Solid and Lightweight - Very solid yet much lighter than the improvised ones Ive used - simple snap turn to unlock / lock the length and telescoping sections is dummyproof and reliable. Color scheme is great and appears to maybe be anodizing vs paint which should hold up much better. Screw hole on one end is also a nice feature and it comes with a little screw where you could theoretically attach a length of cord or something else. Also really like the instructions are printed clearly on the unit itself with large easy to read photos. ## Features - Made of lightweight aluminum alloy, it features 5 sections for length adjustment and a twist-and-lock mechanism for easy use. It comes with a ring that can clip into your backpack/harness, so you can carry this stick anywhere. - Multi-functional: it can clip a quickdraw into a bolt, a rope into a quickdraw, and unclip the quickdraw. A larger diameter (28mm) makes it more stable and easier to use. - 【Product parameters】Specifications: 5 sections in total; Shortest: 53cm; Longest: 245cm; Diameter: 28mm; Weight: 360g - Winner of ISPO Award and Outdoor Industry Award.
