A: I feed this to my adult read sliders, but adults typically need more vegetable matter, so leafy greens with lots of vitamins and minerals work best, I supplement with this treat every few days

**Q: Would my Eastern box turtle enjoy this?**
A: How old is the Eastern Box Turtle? I had rescued a baby EBT with a broken shell. He actually only liked these types of things alive. EBT are actually the hardest turtle to have as a pet and wouldn't recommend it as someone's first. Happy to say my little rescue he healed and is back out in the world again! Good luck with yours!! Do lots of reading about them.

This is the only food my African Sideneck Turtle will eat. I’ve tried different brands and each ingredient by itself, but he’ll only eat the mix. He likes the shrimp and mealworms the best. The mix has the right amount of both and they are sometimes quite large. I haven’t noticed any changes in his bathroom habits since I adopted him, so he is able to digest the mix without issue. We have been buying this turtle food for a while and always come back to it because the turtles absolutely love it. They come swimming in from every direction when we feed them, and our kids get so excited watching them gather around. The quality is consistently good, the pieces look fresh, and the mix of pellets and treats keeps the turtles interested. The container is packed well and easy to bring along when we take little trips to feed the local turtles. It feeds a lot of turtles and seems like a good amount for the price. The only challenge is keeping the ducks away since they try to get in on the food too. Overall, we are very happy with it and will continue buying this favorite for our local turtles.
