Using it for picture frames.** A: No, the accelerator did not leave marks on the wood when I used it on hardwood stairway handrails to do a return. **Q: Anyone use this to fill a gouge in a bowling ball?** A: Bowling balls are usually urethane or polyester resin based. You are probably better off using epoxy for such a repair. JB Weld should work. If the gouge was huge and the bowling ball expensive, you could spring for a polyester resin based product such as what you would use for fiberglass work.
