There is some webbing on the back which would make it easy to 'mount' it to a pack or some other MOLLE / PALS platform, but not belt loops. I suppose you could just pass a belt thru a set of loops and hang it 'sideways'. However it would be REALLY awkward to access the contents like that. There are some more pictures on Maxpedition's site: http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/E-D-C-POCKET-ORGANIZER-14p961.htmHave a look there, as they likely offer a few options that are a bit more belt friendly. **Q: The size says 6X8 main compartment and 5X7 overall right next to each other, which don't make no sense. Actual size please?** A: 5×7 and it's pretty thin. I ended up going to the fatty for more room. Both fit in B.D.U leg pocket and both are built tough so depending on what you carry either will work. **Q: would hhis item fit in a front pocket?** A: No, this model is too big for a pocket.
